Cipla Agricare is a division of SA’s fourth largest and fastest growing pharmaceutical business, Cipla Medpro (part of the JSE-listed Cipla Medpro South Africa Ltd group), which has a strong association with pharmaceutical and chemicals giant Cipla International.
 
The Cipla Agricare business was launched after years of studying the local agrichemical industry and extensive consultation with industry experts.
 
Our relationship with Cipla International is extremely beneficial because it guarantees us access to more than 70 years of expertise in pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing performed at internationally accredited facilities. Cipla International exports to more than 170 countries which mean that they also have extensive knowledge of global agricultural conditions and demands. Thus, we are confident of the suitability of our Crop Protection products to meet the requirements of local farmers.
 
Another advantage of our association with Cipla International is an ethos of affordable pricing. Rising production costs, globally and domestically, are pressurizing the sustainability of the local agricultural industry and its ability to provide food at affordable prices.
